Ben Damph Storage Bench

Made in Edinburgh, Scotland. 

The Ben Damph Storage Bench is an elegant, handcrafted bench with a hidden secret. The beautifully upholstered lid lifts up to reveal a spacious and functional storage compartment.

This bench would look stunning in any entrance way or hall, providing the perfect place to sit down and change your shoes after a long walk, as well as allowing storage for footwear and additional items such as gloves and hats.

The frame is made from locally sourced, sustainable Scottish Ash. This is a quality, durable hardwood with an exquisite grain pattern and beautiful natural features.

The bench is shown here uphosltered in Sutherland Sunset fabric, a stylish 94% pure new wool blend woven on the Isle of Bute. We can upholster the bench in a range of fabrics. Please contact us to discuss the options available and to request free fabric samples.

The ash is finished with Osmo Polyx oil, a hard wearing, water resistant finish which not only brings out the natural grain of the wood but is also durable and long lasting.

Ash is a natural material therefore each bench is unique. There may be variations between benches, and where there are naturally occurring imperfections, they will be expertly remedied.
