The Ben Damph Storage Bench is an elegant, handcrafted bench with a hidden secret. The beautifully upholstered lid lifts up to reveal a spacious and functional storage compartment.
This bench would look stunning in any entrance way or hall, providing the perfect place to sit down and change your shoes after a long walk, as well as allowing storage for footwear and additioanl items such as gloves and hats.
The frame is made from locally sourced, sustainable Scottish Ash. A quality, durable hardwood with an exquisite grain pattern and beautiful natural features.
The bench is shown here uphosltered in Sutherland Sunset fabric, a stylish 94% pure new wool blend woven on the Isle of Bute. We can upholster the bench in a range of fabrics. Please contact us to discuss the options available and to request free fabric samples.
The ash is finished with Osmo Polyx oil, a hard wearing, water resistant finish which not only brings out the natural grain of the wood but is also durable and long lasting.
Ash is a natural material therefore each bench is unique. There may be variations between benches, and where there are naturally occurring imperfections, they will be expertly remedied. If you would like photos and/or a sample of the wood we will be using to construct your bench, please contact us before ordering.

Delivery
Unfortunately due to the size of this product, we are not able to offer delivery. Collection is available from central Edinburgh or we can deliver anywhere within half an hour of Edinburgh by prior arrangement.
If you need your product by a specific date then please send us a message and we will do everything we can to help.
Returns
Our furniture is built to last and we guarantee all our products against faults in manufacturing for 10 years.
Unfortunately due to fact it is made to order and the cost involved in manufacturing this product we are unable to accept returns. We would encourage you to request a free fabric and/or wood sample prior to ordering to ensure the product will suit your space.
